Course Introduction
The certificate program of the Professional Herbal Dietary Therapy Specialist (PHDTS) is offered by the Institute of the Oriental Medicine (IOM). It is divided into two categories:
· Face-to-Face instruction: Each year is divided into three semesters of study and enrollment. Registration continues to be accepted.
· Distance Education: It Has been approved as a formal academic education program by the California BPPE.
To register for this course, you need to go to the school website www.iomschool.org to read the catalog, and fill out the enrollment agreement form to apply.
Entry requirements
To apply for the PHDTS Certificate Program, one of the following two conditions is required:
1. Medical professionals: have a legal license to practice medicine, provide a copy of the license, and a transcript. After evaluation, some credits can be transferred appropriately.
2. Non-medical professionals: Provide high school or higher academic certificates and work experience. The school will have an evaluation for eligible admission.
· To ensure the quality of the online courses, students need to be trained by the school to master the operating skills of each link of the school's online courses before entering the school. Those who do not meet the requirements need to participate in the training again until they are fully mastered.
· The school provides courses in Chinese and English.
Graduation
Students need to complete twenty-three courses and pass exams, write a thesis under the guidance of instructor, and pass, then they can obtain the certificate of the Professional Herbal Dietary Therapy Specialist (PHDTS).
课程介绍
加州东方医学院提供的职业食医专业证书课程,分为二类:
第一类:面授。每年分三学期学习和招生,目前继续接受报名。
第二类:远程教育。已经被美国加州高等教育部核准为正规学历教育课程。
注册此课程,需要到加州东方医学院网站www.iomschool.org 阅读学院教务大纲,下加载学申请表,经学院审核条件符合后,就可以成为加州东方医学院学生。学生需学完23门课程和考试合格,撰写一篇论文并获得通过,方可获得加州东方医学院颁发的职业食医专业证书。
入学条件
申请加州东方医学院职业食医专业证书课程的,需具备以下两项条件之一:
1. 医学专业人士:具有合法行医执照,提供执照副本、中医院校毕业学习成绩单(经评估,可以适当转学分);
2. 非医学专业人士:提供高中或以上的学历证明,以及工作经历,经本校评估后确定是否符合录取资格。
为确保学生网课学习质量,学生入学前,需经本校培训后熟练掌握本校网课各个环节的操作技巧,不符合条件者需重新参加培训,直至完全掌握。
本校提供中文和英文授课。
毕业条件
学生需学完23门课程和考试合格,在学校老师指导下撰写一篇论文并获得通过,就可以获得加州东方医学院颁发的职业食医专业证书。
